SACCANSlide 2 of 13

Read slide text
The SACCAN system is in fact a reduced replica of a larger system called ECA that Aena uses for trials, experimentation, evaluation and validation.
SACCAN re-uses most of ECA software.
Both ECA and SACCAN have been developed by the Spanish firm INDRA based on specifications prepared by Aena.
SACCAN and ECA are based on the philosophy, algorithms, and functions of the ADS-SSR Integration Study carried out by Aena in 1994.
Lessons learned during the ESA PRODAT/PROSAT Programme were taken on board.
